New Game Tuesday, Games Releasing 3/12 - 3/18
This weeks gives us the anticipated next installment in the Division franchise. This launch is important for Ubisoft, as it will define the continued existence of that franchise, and also tell us if 2019 is going to hand us another dud, or give us a nice unexpected hit. Beloved Classic Turok hits Nintendo Switch, and anime fans can be excited for One Piece World Seeker and The Caligula Effect Overdose.

1. The Division 2
Release Date: 3/15
Platforms: Xbox One, PS4, PC
Developer/Publisher: Ubisoft
I'll admit, I was not at all excited when the Division 2 was revealed. The first game was such an overpromised underdelivered failure. Blinking skies, beanies, and graphical downgrades galore, it failed to deliver the "trully next gen" experience it promised, and reaked of the failure that was "Watchdogs" all over again. So when Division 2 promised once again a beautiful new experience I was very skeptical. However early impressions seem positive. Division 2 may indeed be a good game of 2019, and only launch will tell how well its launch window goes. I am more excited now than I was at release.
Division 2 is a looter shooter set in Washington DC post a viral outbreak that has crippled the US. You are play as a special militia trying to keep order in a chaotic world, and thank God there is no Zombies.
2. One Piece World Seeker
Release Date: 3/15
Platforms: PS4, PC, Xbox One
Developer: Ganbarion
Publisher: Bandai Namco Entertainment
One Piece: World Seeker is a action-adventure video game based on the anime series One Piece. It is the first game to feature an open world, and is hotly anticipated for fans of the anime and franchise.
3. Turok (Switch)
Release Date: 3/18 (Switch)
Publisher/Developer (Switch): Nightdive Studios
Turok is a classic video game FPS franchise based on a comic book. It is set in a barbaric world with by dinosaurs and other monsters. What is interesting is this week, this oldschool dino-shooter is coming to Nintendo Switch!
4. The Caligua Effect Overdose (Switch)
Release Date: 3/12 (Switch)
Platforms: PS4, PC, Switch
Developer: Aquria
Publisher: Furyu Nippon Ichi Software. Atlus USA,
The Caligua Effecit is a RPG anime game that takes place in a world called Mobius that plays with reality. This mind twisting story is now coming to Nintendo Switch.
