New Game Tuesday, Games Releasing 4/30 - 5/6

This weeks New Game Tuesday almost got skipped if Activision hadn't come along announced Operation Spectre Rising for Call of Duty Black Ops 4. I thought the only major game release was the Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Age port to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. I looked again and saw SNK is also getting its 40th anniversary xbox one port from last years anniversary event. While this week is a small one, it gives you time to catch up on Days Gone, MK11, or whatever else you are still finishing.
"New Game Tuesday" showcases some major game releases from Tuesday to the following Monday. Scroll down to see if any of the major releases appeal to you!
1. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 "Operation Spectre Rising" (PS4)
Release Date: 4/30 (PS4) Next week on Xbox One and PC
Platforms: PS4
Publisher: Activision
Developer: Treyarch
If you haven't played Call of Duty BO4 in a while now may be a good time to visit again. A new specialist, new map, and more updates are dropping in the game this week for PS4 players and next for everyone else. While I am very much looking forward to increasing my already 100+GB file size for BO4 on my Xbox, it may be the last big update we get before news of Call of Duty 2019 finally reveals itself. Usually around this time of year in May we get news of COD NEXT and hopefully this new update can get us hyped again for some COD!
2. SNK 40th Anniversary Collection (Xbox One)
Release Date: 5/3 (New on Xbox One)
Platforms: Xbox One, PS4, Switch
Developer: SNK
Xbox fans of SNK can finally get their hands on this 40th anniversary collection of retro games. Having dropped last year for PS4 and Switch this port can excite fans of the brand.
3. Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age (Xbox One and Switch)
Release Date: 4/30
Platforms: Switch, Xbox One, PS4, PC
Developer/Publisher: Square Enix
Xbox or Switch Final Fantasy fans may feel like there have been alot of ports lately of older FF games and they would be right and this week is no exception. FF XII The Zodiac Age is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
