Last week showed me how last minute some game releases can be will some games having their launch revealed the day of or just shortly before release. Pending no one else pulls an Apex legends and updates after this week shows a few exciting updates. This week is especially cool for Switch owners who will get 4 amazing ports to check out.

"New Game Tuesday" showcases some major game releases from Tuesday to the following Monday. Scroll down to see if any of the major releases appeal to you!

1. Warhammer Chaosbane (Premium editions)

Release Date: 5/30*

Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC

Developer: Eko Software

Publisher: Bigben Interactive, Games Workshop

For those that preorder the two premium editions of Warhammer Chaosbane it is availble a few days early this week, however for the rest of the mortals satisfied with the standard edition it comes out next week NGT. This Diablo-alike is the next installment in the simingly ever present and growing Warhammer franchise.

2. layers of fear 2

Release Date: 5/28

Platforms: Xbox One, PC, PS4

Developer: Bloober Team

Publisher: Gun Media

I never played the first Layers of Fear when many friends and other reviews gave it poor reviews, calling it unscary or boring. While some enjoyed it, it never made its way on my list. The sequel is getting mixed reviews getting 5/10's while others (cough IGN have given it a 9/10) so take that with a grain of salt. If you love horror games, it may be worth checking out.

I'm not saying all critics must agree or that game reviews aren't partially subjective. But...still. I'm curious now.

3. switch ports everywhere!

Switch fans have some exciting game ports on the way. Critically reviewed Brother a Tale of Two Sons is hitting the portable console and is a must try for gamers who like artistics story games. PC Pixark and Battle Worlds Kronos are getting their console debuts over on switch, and are great to be able to take these games on the go. One I am especially excited for is Among the Sleep. I never got to try this unusal horror game where you play as a baby who travels a scary world trying to find his mom, all escorted by a creepy talking teddy bear. It looks cool and now I have an excuse to revist.

As always, stay tuned here on Game Infinite News for the latest gaming news! Check back next week for New Game Tuesday!
