New Game Tuesday, Games Releasing - 7/16 - 7/22

This week's NGT is a small one with few releases however the two games highlight today definitely turn some head. Marvel fans are in a little bit of a limbo now with almost a year to go until Square Enix's major AAA Avenger's game, and not much work on Phase 4 of the MCU. Until then, a great way to get tide over will be Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 coming to Nintendo Switch! This anticipated game will put some of the biggest marvel heroes into player's hands this Friday! Also, 2013 brought us some truly amazing games that still are relevant today. Games like BioShock Infinite still has one of the greatest endings of all time. Thomas Was Alone is still one of my all time favorite games. Another huge game that released that year Beyond Two Souls launched on the PS3! It has since been released for PS4 and this week this gem is launching on PC via the Epic Game Store. Beyond Two Souls is made by the wizards at Quantic Dream. This developer is known for super cinematic games (like Heavy Rain and Detroit Become Human) that could pass for movies. There is so little difference between gameplay and "cut scenes" that often times you won't no when the cut scene has ended. Beyond Two Souls is still a game I reference when defending consoles. Whenever a developer talks about the difficulty of making games on "7 year old PC's" aka consoles or about the power of the Nintendo Switch, I reference this game. This is a game that ran on a PS3 and can make some games look worse running on today's platforms. If Quantic can make a game look this good on a PS3, then a developer can make any game look good on a modern console or PC.
"New Game Tuesday" showcases some major game releases from Tuesday to the following Monday. Scroll down to see if any of the major releases appeal to you!
1. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order
Release Date: 7/19
Platforms: Nintendo Switch
Developer: Team Ninja
Publisher: Nintendo
What can I say? It's a marvel game! We get to play as all the major characters and fight marvel villians? Hot off Spiderman and Avenger's Endgame any marvel experience is an instant choice.
2. Beyond Two Souls (New on PC)
Release Date: 7/22
Platforms: PS3, PS4, New on PC
Developer: Quantic Dream
Publisher: Sony (Playstation) Quantic Dream (PC)
Prepare to be blown away by an amazing cinematic story seeped in the supernatural, sci-fi, and horror. Then once you finish this game go place Quantic's next game Detroit Become Human which received an EASY 10/10 by Game Infinite last year. Coincidently Detroit is free this month for PS Plus members. There are two ways to experience Beyond, in the original order or in the newer chronological order version. I suggest starting with the chronological order. It really helps you understand the story when seeing it in a more traditional order.
