Google has done its third Stadia Connect event in preparation up to its coming release this November. Google coincided its Connect event with Gamescom 2019 and focused on exactly what it needed to do: GAMES. While the first two events were about HOW Stadia works, pricing details, release information and all that this one focused on enhancing the library of games coming to Stadia. Google is at quite the disadvantage, coming into a huge gaming industry late game with so many established major players. With no tantalizing first party exclusives to compete against Xbox, Playstation, or Nintendo, and some of the biggest third party games like Call of Duty, Apex Legends, Fortnite, FIFA, and others still MIA, Stadia needs to prove its place in gaming. It's not just about streaming in general, but this service. Despite these disadvantages I feel like Google did bring a major presence to the event and showcased some truly exciting games coming to Stadia. Some naysayers are saying that Stadia doesn't have enough games yet, but I say it is still early and we still have over two months of potential new game announcements. I also think back to the strategy Nintendo took with Switch. Their launch was incredibly light, bringing games over time and the Switch has been very successful.
Below is a new list of all the games announced for Stadia so far.
Thanks to Gamescom 2019 we now have some new heavy hitters that will bring some validity to Stadia's lineup.
Some of the biggest game update announcements include:
Destroy All Humans
Orcs Must Die 3 (Exclusive)

Cyberpunk 2077 stadia reveal
Google may need to still get some of the biggest names in gaming but this is a step in the right direction for sure. Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most hotly anticipated titles of 2020 and was a fan favorite at E3 2019. The arrival of this title is a huge win for Google and fans.
Orcs must die 3 - stadia's first exclusive
I've never really heard of this franchise but I am a huge fan of the tower defense genre. Having sunk way more hours than I care to admit into Plants Vs Zombies over the years the idea of a third person tower defense game facing me against an endless hoard of Orcs? Sign me up!
Super Hot is becoming the Skyrim of indie games. If it plays games, it plays SuperHot! Not that this is a bad thing, this time bending shooter is a total blast to play and I highly recommend it.
Destroy all humans
A franchise I am super excited to see make a return. This goofy alien invasion game looks super fun and I can't wait to play it.
One of the surprise hits of E32019 was Watchdogs Legion. A franchise I had totally given up on has successfully recaptured my and many gamers attention with its crazy premise. Play as anyone, there are no NPC's. We got a better picture on how "play as anyone" works during this connect and I have to say I am very intrigued. The fact that Legion is coming Stadia is really no surprise considering Google's and Ubisofts early partnership. Ubisofts major titles like Assassin's Creed and Ghost Recon are all coming to Stadia, as well as Ubisofts upcoming streaming service.
