Nintendo Direct 9/4 - Event Recap

It took a little longer than I planned to get this recap out because over the past few days been fighting a cold and wasn't feeling up to it. Now I'm starting to feel better, and this Direct was such treasure trove of announcements that it definitely needs a recap. Below are some of the biggest announcements for diehard Nintendo fans. Overwatch comes to Nintendo Switch!
An amazon listing last week spoiled what would have been a fall out of my chair shock announcement that Nintendo kicked off the Direct with. It is coming October and priced at only 40$. My only ask has been trying to get confirmation from Blizzard if they are working on cross save options. I want three years of effort to matter before I rebuy. Let's be honest though. I'll probably still get it.
SNES games are coming to Switch Online

Long asked for update to Switch online is the addition of SNES games. Nintendo delivered with a massive library drop of 20 SNES games!
Assassins creed rebel collection
Much beloved Pirate simulator Assassin's Creed Black Flag along with Assassin's Creed Rogue will be hitting Switch with this bundle.
Xenoblade chronicles definitive edition comes to switch
The Nintendo Switch is getting more Xenoblade Chronicles with the original comes to the Switch with a remastered Definitive Edition with improved visuals.
Deadly premonition 2
Trials of mana
Trials Of Mana, the remake of Seiken Densetsu 3, will be available April 24, 2020.
Grid autosport
Popular racing series Grid is landing on the mobile console with Grid Autosport coming to Nintendo Switch.
Animal crossing content!
Nintendo gave us more of a look at the hotly anticipated Animal Crossing New Horizons coming 2020.
Tokyo mirage sessions #FE Port
The Wii U is running out of exclusives and this beloved Fire Emblem crossover is coming to Nintendo Switch.
Luigi's Mansion 3 content
Nintendo gave us a more in-depth look at multiplayer content on Luigi's Mansion 3, and I have to say I am pretty excited for this game.A new “Scream Park” mode will pit 2 - 8 players against one other in arena-style battles.
PokÉmon content
Star Wars Jedi knight: Jedi outcast 2
Coming way out of left field, not that I am complaining, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast will be available for Switch on September 24.
Super Kirby clash
Nintendo same day announce and released Super Kirby Clash, a free-to-play Kirby game. Up to Four players with over 100 different quests fight enemies as a team, either locally or online.
Doom 64 on switch
