New Game Tuesday, Games Releasing 10/29 - 11/4

This week's NGT biggest release is Nintendo's Luigi's Mansion 3 as one of Nintendo's big Holiday titles. While probably not going to make Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey numbers, it is expected to be popular, and I cannot wait to try it. We also have some big name ports with Resident Evil 5 and 6 coming to Nintendo Switch, as well as Yakuza 4 hitting current gen on PS4 from PS3. Atelier Ryza is here to fill to anime-esque jrpg niche and is anticipated from those fans!

"New Game Tuesday" showcases some major game releases from Tuesday to the following Monday. Scroll down to see if any of the major releases appeal to you!

1. Luigi's Mansion 3

Release Date: 10/31

Platforms: Nintendo Switch

Developer: Nintendo

Publisher: Nintendo

This third installment of the beloved ghost hunting Mario spinoff is here and has been much anticipated ever since its reveal. This new installment promises many improvements and fun quirky changes like a "Goo-ligi" for co-op. This is one of the bigger Nintendo releases for the year until Pokemon hits next month.

2. Atelier Riza: Ever Darkness and the secret hideout

Release Date: 10/31

Platforms: PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch

Developer: Koei Tecmo Games

Publisher: Koei Tecmo Games

For many gamers their favorite genre of games are obscure JRPG's with long names and no English dubs. There seems to be a new game like frequently, and if you are into these types of games then perhaps Atelier Riza is for you.

3. yakuza 4 (ps4 remaster ps3 port)

Release Date: 10/29

Platforms: PS4

Developer: Sega

Publisher: Sega

Getting one more big PS3 port in on the PS4 before the end of the generation looms next year, Yakuza 4 is getting a remastered port from PS3 to PS4 with upgraded visuals. The Yakuza franchise is much beloved by fans so they can look forward to having more Yakuza this console cycle.

4. resident evil 5 and 6 Switch ports

Release Date: 10/29

Platforms: New on Switch

Developer: Capcom

Publisher: Capcom

The Nintendo Switch is quickly becoming home to countless Resident Evil ports. In fact it is surprising to me that Resident Evil 2 Remake has not been announced for a Switch port yet. The question of "could the Switch run it" has been all but squished in the post Doom-Overwatch-Witcher era of Switch. This week major titles RE5 and RE6 are coming to the mobile console as well.

As always, stay tuned here on Game Infinite News for the latest gaming news! Check back next week for New Game Tuesday!
