Indie Game Round Up - April 2023
April is here, for many of us it is getting nicer outside. Still, for us gamers that doesn't matter. We want to stay inside, and one of the best way to do that is to know what indie games are coming up! For April we have several fun and exciting indie games to share news about with all of you.

Three Skies intrigued us with it's beautiful visuals and high quality art. This narrative driven RPG is already available on iOS and is coming very soon to Steam. We can't wait to share more of it later, and was our easy pick for our IGRU April Cover Game. Definitely given this one a try if you are into fantasy RPG's.

Creepy dark forests are where Indie Games often thrive. This Lovecraftian horror dark forestry adventure intrigued us upon first viewing. We are excited to partner with the makers of Aresys to give away four copies of the game to our fans!

3. AIKODE - (UPDATE) #GiFriends Official Gi Trailer #2 NOW WITH GAMEPLAY

(Update April 2023: We are so excited for this update on AIKODE. In our most popular Gi Trailer to date, we now get a glimpse at gameplay in this epic sci-fi adventure. If you haven't seen the new trailer, definitely check this one out. AIKODE is quickly becoming one of our IGRU audience's most anticipated games.)

AI-Kode is just an absolutely stunning 3D game that looks like a mainstream AAA title, and that is why we selected this beautiful game to spotlight in this month's promo background.. This game looks like something we would expect from a senior studio from the likes of something like a Square Enix title. The renders look impressive, and hopefully we will see more progress as time goes forward. It gives us major Platinum - Nier vibes, mixed with Cyberpunk aesthetics, and we love it. The game is slated to have a whopping 6 playable characters, with Aiko being the main. It also features varied combat with sword, gun, and scythe combat types. Ai-Kode is definitely one to watch for. Due to the scope of a game that looks like this, this one "could" be far out, but still deserves a spot on our wishlist. We will keep you apprised if we learn any updates!

Narrative Driven Roguelite in Unreal Engine 5, Gwen Blade is a beautiful 3D adventure that intrigued us with it's visuals. Check out the official trailer above on Game Infinite's YouTube.
6. Last Emissary

Developer Description: "Last Emissary, [is] an upcoming Tactical Turn-Based RPG/Dating Sim"
We really were intrigued by Last Emissary's art style and top down combat. It mixes traditional fantasy RPG elements with visual novel style dating sim dialogue. This one is still early, but we already have it on our radar. Definitely follow them over on Twitter for regular updates on this game!
7. Dancing Divas - NSFW Game Warning

We are always excited when we see indie fps games that look to tell new stories and bring exciting FPS action. This one is still early, but we are already excited about it.
